Ian Bellion is a UK voice actor. He was born in Chester in 1951, lived and was educated in Newtown, Powys and trained as a photographer and film maker at Nottingham College of Art. He made his voiceover debut in 1970 in an infomercial for a hosiery company. He joined the BBC in Birmingham in 1974 and became a film editor working on the station's varied output - from drama to documentaries and current affairs. He also contributed voiceovers ranging from station idents to outraged punters on "points of View". In 1976 he co-founded Miss Mossie's Theatre Company which toured rural areas of the Midlands with accessible and entertaining original productions. He wrote or adapted much of the company's material. In 2006 he left the BBC to work as a voice actor and radio presenter.
