Ian Johnston (II) is a journalist, author and Emmy-nominated TV writer. An entertainment writer for The Daily News in the 1990s, Johnston would go on to create The Comedy Network series Liography, starring Leslie Nielsen. He founded the production company Cell Phone Cinema in 2014 with Iris Johnston. A Cell Phone Cinema production, Quick Thoughts About Rainbows won the 2019 Canadian International Comedy Film Festival award for Best Shorty. Ian lives in Toronto.
