A New Orleans hip hop artist, Magic was discovered by Master P in the Louisiana underground music circuit and was initially recorded and released under the "No Limit Records" label. He then became a member of Pensacola's "Body Head Bangerz", the group founded by former heavyweight pro-boxing champion, Roy Jones Jr.. By 2008, Magic began releasing music under the "9th Planet" record label with his own band.
