Max Bogner was born in Miami, Florida and received his B.A. from USF in Tampa. Following graduation, he served as a naval officer in the US Naval Reserve. Max was always exceptionally creative. In 1982, he moved to Los Angeles, for all it offered! Once there, he studied graphic design and then launched a small and very successful firm that specialized in hand-lettering, logos and posters for the film industry. Having acted in school plays most of his life, he indulged himself in professional classes, studying with some of the best teachers in the business. They include Harry Mastrogeorge, Mark Teschner, Amy Lyndon and The Groundlings. Acting quickly became his greatest passion and overtook design, grabbing center stage! Max is versatile in both Comedy and Drama. He's worked directly with Larry David and Mary Steenburgen in "Curb Your Enthusiasm"; co-starred on "General Hospital" as the President of its Board of Directors; played alongside David Bowie and Tilda Swinton in one of Mr. Bowie's last music videos; had a strong supporting role in the western "Abilene", playing directly opposite Kris Kristofferson and Luke Hemsworth; is the primary face and voice for "Escape Hotel Hollywood" and his portrait adorns a permanent, 10-foot high mural on the side of the venue, located on Hollywood Blvd and Cherokee; co-starred on Comedy Central's "The Jeselnik Offensive"; and performs stand-up in local venues. Commercially, Max has helped sell products such as wireless services (Sprint, AT&T), Nikon, Toyota and Rainbird Sprinklers. In addition to acting, Max is an aspiring writer with 3 children stories, 2 shorts stories and a screenplay in the works. He's also a painter, is learning to play the piano and holds US Patent. And, as the owner of MBDesign, he continues to design logos and posters! Max is married and lives in Los Angeles.
