Bronwen was born and raised in Northern California. Most of her childhood was spent in the small town of Los Gatos where she studied ballet from age 7 on. She began her performing by joining the Cleveland Ballet right out of high school at the age of 17. After an unfortunate injury ended her classical dance career at 20, she considered both Veterinary medicine and Enviromental law careers as she performed in a number of Bay Area musicals. Her work with American Musical Theatre of San Jose garnered her a Bay Area Ginny Award of "Best Newcomer" for her work as Zaneeta Shinn in "The Music Man". In early 1998, she was cast in a featured role in the film "Dance With Me", starring Vanessa Williams and Kris Kristofferson. At the suggestion of "Dance With Me" director, Randa Haines (Children of a Lesser God, Wrestling Earnest Hemmingway), she began to pursue dramatic acting. In early 1998 she moved to New York and began training with the late Gene Frankel (Director: "Lost in the Stars" "The Lincoln Mask"). After a small role in "Keeping the Faith", director Edward Norton suggested that Bronwen continue her dramatic training at the Terry Schreiber Studio in NYC. She has been training with Terry (Director: "K2", "The Trip Back Down") ever since. In 2005, Bronwen played leading roles in the films: "Fragole", "The Ballad of Mary Jo", directed by Heath Ward and the teaser for the upcoming feature "Blur", directed by John Kim (Nicholl Fellowship semi-finalist). She also performed the role of Joan in the off-Broadway play "Bury the Dead" with the Tri-borough Players at the Abington Theatre in New York. She currently lives in New York City.
