Anahid is a native Bostonian who lived in New York City, San Diego, Los Angeles before recently moving back to her hometown. She is first generation Armenian and is fluent in Armenian. She trained in NYC with acclaimed acting teacher and mentor Richard Pinter privately and at The Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre and is a Meisner graduate. A member of SAG-AFTRA, Anahid has performed on stages in New York City, San Diego and Los Angeles and starred in several indie films, including Betrayal and No More Mr. Nice Guy. Drawn to playing strong, complex female leads, her most favorite theatrical role to date is Seta in the five-time Moliere Award winning play Beast on the Moon, a story of two young immigrants in the 1920's who escaped the Armenian Genocide and work together to start a new life in America. Anahid is also an accomplished classical pianist and is professionally trained in jazz, musical theatre and Armenian Folk dance.
