Sandra Alves

In the year of 1998 completed her studies specializing in film & events production and started her professional activity in the very same year. From 1998 to 2000 worked in the most diverse positions in the Portuguese film industry. During this period working experiences were vast: set dresser; art director's assistant; location manager; production coordinator and production assistant in TV series; feature films; commercials and events. In 2000 had her first job opportunity as production manager and in the following eight years worked with many Portuguese producers , not only in local productions but also in several executive productions and co productions in feature films; TV series and commercials. In 2009 was invited by the film producer Tino Navarro (MGN Filmes) to produce her first film as a line producer and end up working @ this film company for the following 6 years line producing films with the most popular local directors. In 2014 when the European economic crisis was severely installed in Portugal and the local government suspended all the financial support for local feature films & series she was invited by the executive producer Patricia Lino PSP- Production Portugal to became a line producer for commercials with companies from all over the world and she end end up staying at PSP till 2015. In 2015 left PSP to became a freelance producer and although in the last six years she had been more involved into commercials film production she always finds a way to comeback to fiction production in between her advertising projects. Being a dynamic and passionate person who loves producing and make it happen she always feel the need to wide her creative horizons always embracing the challenge of work with as many different persons and as many different kind of projects as she can cause she really believes that's the only way to continue and expanding growing both professional and personally.
