Grace Chang is an Asian-American artist known for her dynamic work as an actor, director, filmmaker, and writer. Growing up in a celebrated show-business family in China, she performed as a professional magician in large scale productions before landing her first film role as the "Notorious Mistress" in 1993's The Joy Luck Club. Amongst her dozens of producing and acting credits, notable projects include a lead role and producing credit in Peier Tracy Shen's Like Flying, remarkably shot on Kodak film, and an emotionally challenging lead role in Sunburnt Summer, directed by Zicheng Li. In 2018, Grace wrote, directed, and starred in her short film The Missing Piece, sending her to dozens of international festivals and winning multiple awards, including "Best Short" at the Big Apple Film Festival.
