Laura Maxwell

Laura Maxwell is an American Actress, multimedia Artist, Writer and Filmmaker based in Los Angeles, CA. In 2013, her first short film "First" premiered at Crankyfest, a Canadian online film competition. The animated short won "Best Film" and went on to appear in festivals in New York, Los Angeles, and internationally. Other works directed and/or produced by Maxwell have appeared in The Newport Film Festival, The LA Comedy Festival, the Brooklyn Film Festival, The Unmentionables Film Festival and in media publications CrushFanzine, NME, and Teen Vogue to name a few. An early initiator of Web-based content, she was also a co-creator, performer and writer of the award-winning all-female online comedy Penny and Pru. Maxwell has performed in the live Art/Comedy show "The Trend Forecast" at various comedy venues in Los Angeles since 2012.
