Ricardo a veteran stage & film actor of over 40 years. Studied at the "Famed Lee Strasberg Theater" & The Actors Studio. The Artistic Consultant for the Second Largest Theater festival on the East Coast "The Spotlight On Theater Festival". At the age of four he made his television debut. Cordero was born and raised on the streets of Brooklyn, New York. Son of renowned artist Jorge Luis Cordero & brother of renowned Art Historian & Artist Jorge Luis Cordero Jr. He went by Ricky Ricardo in the early part of his career. Known as a method Actor, director, producer, writer, dancer and singer. He was also part of New York fame The Actors Studio 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Historic Accomplishments of Group Theater. Known to be a great theater history buff. He was invited to the 31 One Day Celebration in 1997 by the then The Actors Studios Artistic Director & Oscar-Winning Actress Estelle Parsons to be part of the Historic moment in time. Off Broadway you have seen Ricardo in Tell Tale-Heart, The Rose Tatoo, Faithful, Jackie Gleason Story, Archie Bunkers back, Frankie & Johnny, Savile Row Murders, Che'-Che', Control. Ricardo has been seen in numerous films. Most recent role wrap on the feature film "Inside Llewyn Davis" Directed Ethan Coen, Joel Coen in the role of Nunzio. Included in his list are "The Eyes Have it" Winner of the 2007 Action On Film International film festival, La Famigila Nostra in which he starred, directed & wrote, Brooklyn Games, Trash Baby, Mad Money, Hitts & Mrs, Watch Out, Cottonwood, Minotaur, Welcome to the Neighborhood, My Heaven Brooklyn to name a few. Later next year, he will begin filming "Coney Island Joe," about a Brooklyn homeless man who takes over a New York City Court house. In 1996, the renowned Actor's Studio officially acknowledged him as an advisor on Method Acting and a Group Theater historian. You can also see him on TV (CBS) in his recurring role on" Late Night with David Letterman show" guest starring as Bob Zicks.
