Jerry was born Gerald Todd Shulman, on June 27, 1953, in Astoria, New York. The youngest of three sons, it wasn't until the Shulmans moved to Miami that Jerry began to blossom as an actor. He studied and graduated the University of Miami, and immediately began performing in improvisational comedy troupes and stand-up comedy clubs. Finally settling in Chicago, Jerry began studying with Del Close and Michael Gelman at The Second City, and landed in Comedy Sportz of Chicago, where he performed for 4 years. Moving back to New york City, Jerry finally started performing in Off Broadway theater companies, and began becoming a regular face on commercials, industrials and voice-overs. Graduating to film and television, Jerry is a recognizable face, usually adding a touch of comedy in every role he plays.
