Christian Monnier

Christian Monnier is a French film director and screenwriter. In 2009, after directing several short films, his first feature Le Chien was released theatrically. It was selected for Official Competition at the A-listed Moscow International Film Festival, among other festivals. Monnier followed it with two new short films which reaped awards internationally: Fishing in the Moonlight, shot in Ontario, and Jenna, shot in Saint-Pierre et Miquelon. His second feature, Ça tourne à Saint-Pierre et Miquelon (A Fishy Business in Saint-Pierre et Miquelon), is an atypical comedy shot in Paris, Saint-Pierre et Miquelon, and Toronto.
