Antonello Falqui was born on 6th of November 1925 in Rome. He is the son of Enrico, literary critic. He lived in Rome for all his life except a time in 1952 in Milan for experimental television. He attended "Centro sperimentale di cinematografia" of Luigi Chiarini since 1947 to 1949. In 1950 he was help-director of Curzio malaparte in "Cristo proibito". He started to perform his design of show with "Il Musichiere" together with Garinei and Giovannini. This show ruled tv season in 1958, 1959 and 1960,showed by Mario Riva. He was director of Canzonissima in 1958, 1959, 1968, 1969. Falqui visited the USA and took a new fashion tv show to Italy with "Studio Uno" (1962) and "La biblioteca di Studio Uno" (1964). In the 70s he performed with Paolo Villaggio "Fracchia", with Gigi Proietti "Fatti e fattacci", both in 1975, and varieties "Milleluci" (1974) and "Al Paradise" (1983). From 1990 he taught at Accademy of art of Macerata (Marche, Italy).
