He spent his junior year abroad - London - and got a huge DJ residency at the Camden Palace in London, 1984. He played hip hop (which was exotic then) with DJ legend Steve Naive. He was 22. Final thesis was a film about the work of Marshal McCluahan called "Collide-a-scope," The first film thesis in Alfred's 200 year history. He graduated from Alfred University (First in his class) with an independent major in Communications. After graduating he worked as a freelance editor at seminal MTV Ad Agency Fred Allan. During his time at Fred Allan, he worked on many of the very early MTV promos including the Man On The Moon, the original show open for the Real World, as well as some of the very first promos ever made for VH1, and Nickelodeon. Later on he formed Mass Media, a boutique ad agency and production co. in Manhattan. Currently he is the owner and lead director and editor at Opticnerve, Inc. in Brooklyn New York.
