Robert E "VaderPainter" Bean Bob has been designing costumes and props since 1977 when he donned his first home made Darth Vader costume. Since then he has learned a great deal about fiberglass, painting and mold creating. He is recognized the world over for his incredible talents and is highly sought after for his technique to get a professional appearance in the art of costuming. He initially became well known for his ability to paint fiberglass and plastic armor using automotive paint equipment and supplies. He spent many months perfecting the process he now uses to get the wonderful results when he paints. Thus was born VaderPainter Studios; due to the high demand of other costumers requesting his painting services and custom armor modifications. However he has also branched out into other movie and historical costumes and props. He takes great pride in producing a visually pleasing product for everyone to enjoy. His costume creations can be seen in commercials and print, locally and nationally, interviews, private performances, independent films, charities and much more. He has even been used as a model for Dark Horse Comic illustrators and other officially licensed LucasFilm artists as well as publications for games.
