Biography
When Alex Cambert walks onto a stage - or into a room - laughs are never far behind. Cambert, a two-time Emmy Award winning broadcaster, recently became Hispanic Heritage Ambassador for The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, creating and producing hilariously insightful man-on-the-street pieces to "enlighten and en-Latin" audiences. Before that, he helped develop "Mas Vale Tarde con Alex Cambert," a late night talk show for Telemundo - a rarity for Spanish television. Shaping and hosting his own talk show was definitely a dream come true for this gifted comedian. While some have called him the Latin Leno, Advertising Age says, "Think Jerry Seinfeld, if the comic were Cuban-American, and spoke Spanish." Most recently, Cambert has been expanding his horizons as a producer in reality TV, with a slate of hilarious projects in various stages of development.
