Jamie moved back into independent movies that screened at international film festivals, notably Cannes. His role in Knock Off, directed by Tsui Hark, caught the eye of a casting director who chose him to play a mob type antagonist, who was to be killed off by Shannon Lee (Bruce Lee's daughter) in And Now You're Dead.
