Micah Fink is an award-winning producer, director and writer specializing in international affairs, public health, and environmental issues. His feature documentaries include: "End Game," a feature documentary about the global effort to eradicate polio, "Beyond Borders: Undocumented Mexican Americans," about undocumented Mexican-American families in the US, "The Abominable Crime," about anti-gay violence in Jamaica, and "Mann v. Ford," about the impact of toxic waste on a Native American Community. He also served as a co-executive producer for Al Gore's Climate Reality Project, and has produced TV and web documentaries for HBO, CNN, ABC News, National Geographic Explorer, National Geographic Wild, and PBS Wide Angle. From 2001 to 2005, Micah was a Coordinating Producer on the PBS international documentary series Wide Angle. He learned the ropes of documentary production while working on several award-winning investigative projects for PBS Frontline, as a field producer for the Dupont Award winning ABC News series "Hopkins 24/7," and as an associate producer on the ground-breaking PBS living history series "Frontier House." Micah's work has been recognized with three Emmy nominations; two Cine Golden Eagle Awards, a Silver Screen award, and an International Film and Video Award. He was a Japan Society Fellow in 2008 and a Kaiser Media Health Fellow in 2005. Micah earned a MS in Journalism from Columbia University and a BA in Comparative Literature from Cornell University. He is on the faculty of the Graduate Program in Social Documentary at the School for Visual Arts in NYC.
