Gert Henriksen

Born in Copenhagen, started writing novels for young people in the late 1980's after having worked as a teacher at Rødovre Public school. Graduated from Frederiksberg Teacher's College, classes at UCLA in screen writing lead to 10 years of writing drama for DR1TV, in Denmark. From 2012 directed and wrote several short films, 2 of them can be found on the "Ekko Shortlist". In 2020 made his feature film directing debut with "EGG"(ÆG), October 21, in Løgumkloster i Den Gamle Biograf. Most often compose the music score as well.
