Alessandra Guerzoni (born in Modena, Italy) is an Italian-Chilean actress, theater producer and cultural manager, known for Iglú (Nominated Best Supporting Actress Pedro Sienna Awards); Helga and Flora, Broken Panties, The Stranger, as well as for her renowned characters in iconic audiovisual productions throughout the golden age of television series on Chilean National Television (TVN). After graduating from the United World College of the Adriatic (Duino, Italy) with an International Baccalaureate and from the University of London with a Bachelor of Arts, (First Class Honors), she studied professional acting at Fernando González Mardones' Drama School. Recently graduated, she starred in Chilean National Theater's hit, "Playing With Fire", by August Strindberg, directed by Swedish director Staffan Valdemar Holm. Her performance was bestowed with the 1998 APES Acting Revelation Prize, awarded by the Association of Journalists of Entertainment, Art and Culture of Chile (APES). It was thanks to this success on stage that Chilean director Vicente Sabatini discovered her and opened the path for her breakthrough in audiovisual productions by signing her to Chilean National Television Drama Area, where she stood out in several successful series with renowned and beloved characters, such as Irina (Sucupira), Giulia (La Fiera), Vinka (Romané), Miss Emily (Pampa Ilusión) and Natasha (El Circo de las Montini).
