Anthony Haas began his career as an assistant director on films, including Dr Frankenstein, and in television drama for ITV. He went on to produce over 60 music events including the London Symphony Orchestra, Kate Bush, Cliff Richard, Ray Charles and The King's Singers. He devised and produced a number of Christmas specials for BBC Television, including a BBC ONE Christmas 75-minute Omnibus, Bring Me Sunshine - The Heart and Soul of Eric Morecambe (Morecambe & Wise). He created and developed The Peter Sellers Story for BBC TWO's Arena and executive produced The Peter Sellers Story: As He Filmed It, released on BBC DVD. His programs have attracted large primetime audiences (8.2m for Bring Mr Sunshine, representing a 37% audience share). Both The Peter Sellers Story and Bring Me Sunshine received BAFTA nominations. He produced the award winning short Steve with Colin Firth and Keira Knightley, directed by Rupert Friend. A blend of producer, creative artist and technician, Anthony Haas spent a number of years in Los Angeles during which time he worked with 20th Century Fox and Hemdale Film Corporation. His work has included negotiating commissions and pre-sales. He has developed and produced projects with BBC TV, ITV, Home Box Office, 20th Century Fox, Charisma Films, Chrysalis, PolyGram, Watchmaker Productions, BBC Radio and Capital Radio. Anthony Haas and his producing partner Martin Scorsese have been working on the feature film Silver Ghost, with Zuma Productions and Sikelia Productions, which was developed by the late Richard Attenborough and Anthony Haas, which they are now transitioning in conjunction with Expanded Media Productions and writer Adrian Hodges into a high-end multi-part episodic renewable television series for one of the US streamers. Anthony Haas is also producing London West End stage plays It's All in the Mind, Folks! set during the last weeks of Peter Sellers' life with Big City Productions and Theatre Royal Haymarket, written by John Antrobus with music and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse, and The Guinea Pig Club written by Susan Watkins to be directed by Damian Cruden, with Simon Callow. He is responsible for initiating the return of the 80s/90s cult series Spitting Image.
