Bernard J. Tarver started in show business doing voiceover, following a career as a radio newscaster. He has done over 1,000 voiceover projects including work for the National Baseball Hall of Fame, where one of his proudest moments was when he narrated the official exhibit video marking the 50th anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the Major League Baseball color barrier. As a stage actor Bernard made his Off Broadway debut in 1994 in the Drama Desk Award-winning "American Enterprise" by Jeffrey Sweet. Regional theatre credits include: "To Kill A Mockingbird," "Death of a Salesman," "Treasure Island," "Big River." Since 2010 he has worked mostly as a theatrical producer and playwright in New York. In 2012 he assistant produced the U.S. Premiere of Katori Hall's play about post-Civil War-torn Rwanda, "Children of Killers".
