Vasily Serikov

Born in 1968 in Solnechnogorsk, Russia, from Alexander and Galina Serikov. After finishing school entered Moscow State Univercity, faculty of economics. Served in a Soviet Navy in Murmansk, Barents sea. After his service continued study at MSU, but after a few years changed his way and entered VGIK (Russian national film school), faculty of action (adventure) films and computer graphics. Graduated in 1993. Worked as an assistant director and then as a documentary director at RCSDF (Russian Central Documentary studio), as a digital artist on TV, as a documentary director for BBC and other production companies. Directing feature films since 2002 for top Russian productions. Since 2013 lives in Czech Republic and Bulgaria. Founder and owner of post production companies Illusion Productions (Moscow, Russia) and Entera Media Production (Prague, CZ). Married to Tatiana Serikova, script writer.
