As a writer Martin has created and developed work in various narrative disciplines, from novels, stories, short stories to screenplays. His stories has been selected as part of numerous anthologies. "No Somos Angeles" (1994). The anthologies collected by writer and journalist, Dalmiro Saenz (1996). "Buenos Aires No Duerme" a collection of stories published by Eudeba and promoted by the Buenos Aires government. His screenplays have brought him to diverse festivals. "Spinner" (2017), "Choose!, Sandals or Socks", (2014) "Los Hombres no Lloran en el Baño" (2012), "Ciudades Dormitorio" (2005), "Funeral Etiquette" (2004), and "Candela" (1998) have won notable awards, such as the Hubert Bals Fund at the Rotterdam Int. Film Festival, Berlinale TWA (2004), and the IFP Project Forum. He has also been awarded development and production awards from the INCAA (Argentinean Film Council), Pages International Screenwriter Award, CWA, Imagination and Evolution International screenwriting festival. The script "Gregory Camp" has been selected twice for the second round at the Sundance Film Festival. He wrote the novels "El Asombrado" (1996) y "El Arcángel de Rivera" (2000). In 2017 his book "¡Oiga Bien!" was published in Spain by Penguin Random House. "¡Oiga Bien!" was a finalist in Best Seller category at the Caligrama awards (2018) and got the Talent Prize in 2017. Currently Martin is writing ¨Tus Extensiones¨, a novel. At the same time developing the script ¨Frostiana¨ for the London production house Zen Arts Limited and "Malambo" for production company Argentinacine. Since 2012, he is an active member of the prestigious DGA -Directors Guild of America-. Also a member of ALMA, Spanish Writers Guild and the FSE (Federation of screenwriters in Europe).
