Trevor Doyle Nelson is an actor and filmmaker born and raised in Austin, TX. He started acting professionally at the age of thirteen. His first role was in 'The Journeyman', alongside Barry Corbin and Willie Nelson. The film won the Audience Choice Award at the 2001 SXSW Film Festival. Throughout Trevor's teenage years he appeared in films produced in Austin and the surrounding area. Early on he developed an interest in the technical side of filmmaking. Between acting jobs he worked on the sets of several Austin-based Hollywood productions. He also began writing, directing, and producing projects of his own. Trevor continued to act, as well as develop his skills behind the camera, throughout his teenage years. Upon finishing high school Trevor turned his attention entirely to film. Over the next several years he built an excellent reputation in the Austin film community; a reputation that stands to this day. In 2008 Trevor moved to Los Angeles to further his acting career while simultaneously pursuing a degree in Film. He left college in 2010 after professional commitments made attending school no longer practical. He is currently based primarily in Los Angeles, returning to Austin regularly.
