Atit Shah is an award-winning producer, known for Money (2016), Brown Nation (2016), Remember Me (2019), and The Crash (2017). Shah is the CEO of Create Entertainment headquartered in New York City where he resides. Shah was born March 17, 1983, in Ahmedabad, India. Over the last 8 years, he has successfully produced over 10 feature films, a TV show, and a documentary, along with scores of short-form content. Summer 2020, Universal Pictures released the rom-com Remember Me (2019). A co-production Shah led between the US, Spain, and France. The film stars two-time Oscar nominee Bruce Dern, Golden Globe Winner Brian Cox, and Sienna Guillory. In 2016 Netflix globally released Brown Nation (2016), a TV show he had helped both independently produce and line produce. His recent films as lead producer include the 2016 worldwide 20th Century Fox Home and Netflix release Money (2016), starring Jesse Williams, Kellan Lutz, Jamie Bamber, and Jess Weixler. The film has won 23 awards worldwide including 9 for Best Picture. In 2014 he produced and line produced The Crash (2017) starring Oscar Nominee Minnie Driver, Ed Westwick, Frank Grillo, Dianna Agron, AnnaSophia Robb, Maggie Q, and John Leguizamo. The Crash was sold by CAA and released theatrically in January 2017. His debut feature An Act of War (2015) won four awards during its festival run and was released on Netflix in June 2015. His other recently released titles include Monsoon (2018) and the WW2 documentary Forgive - Don't Forget (2018), available on Amazon Prime and Hulu respectively. Other upcoming 2020 releases include the sci-fi film Norman (2019), and a thriller What We Found (2020) starring Oona Laurence, Elizabeth Mitchell, Brandon Larracuente and James Ransone. Shah holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from George Washington University in Washington, DC where he majored in International Business. Prior to producing, he's held various product managerial roles at global finance and technology firms, including Thomson Reuters. Atit created the Film Finance and Packaging class at the Independent Filmmakers Project (IFP) in NYC, where he regularly teaches.
