Mark G. Dawson

Mark now serves as video storyteller at Anderson University, using his skills as a producer/director, cinematographer, and editor to promote the institution. He worked as a TV news photographer/editor for 7 years earning 17 state and regional awards in the process. He then spent two and a half years as a staff producer for an award-winning Nashville, Tennessee film and video production company. Since joining Anderson University in 1998 Mark has been honored with Telly, ADDY, Aurora, Angel, and Ava awards as well as 2010 & 2013 Emmy Awards and nominations in 1994 & 2004. Mark has shot overseas in the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Cyprus, Jordan, Japan, Nepal, the Philippines, Kenya, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panamá, and Brazil. In recent years Mark's work has focused on environmental filmmaking.
