Michael Dotson

Michael was born Michael Barry Dotson, in Fresno, California in 1970. He was raised by his mother, Mary Doyle. During his adolescence, he has achieved goals some still strive to attain. While only in 3rd grade his writing talents were recognized by his teacher who entered him into a statewide writing competition from grades 1st through college. Michael, with his "An Almost Impossible Mission" took 2nd place among all the contestants including the college level competitors. His poetry was already being sold to many at the mere age of 12. Finally realizing his talents, he took his natural ability and decided to turn it into something everyone could enjoy, screenwriting. Michael has been called upon by a few industry celebrities to write everything from Spec-scripts to full length scripts. Recently he completed what he describes as his big break script, Lost In Love; in which he hopes to cast the R&B sensation, Usher, to play the lead. Michael has also appeared on several different movies as well as spot appearances on different television shows.
