Annabel Oakes is the creator, showrunner, and one of the directors of Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies on Paramount+. Prior to Grease, Annabel wrote and directed the TV pilot for Youtube's The Edge of Seventeen, based on the movie of the same name. She also served as both a writer and director on Netflix's Atypical and has written on numerous other shows including MTV's Awkward, Amazon's Transparent, and Starz/HBO Max's MINX.
