Aidan Demarest

Headed for Sundance 07 to join his compatriots in support of Magnetic Poles in which he plays the charming self-absorbed lead. Hails from Boston, Massachusetts, where he picked-up a little intelligence, art, politics and a sweet sense of irony. After a mediocre turn at economics at Emerson, he realized a glaring void of practical skills (not unlike a black hole) leaving only one job available to him: that of an actor. With an unusual lack of pressure from artistic parents, writer Clare Demarest and visual artist Jack Demarest (from whom he gets his rumpled good looks) he forged ahead: traveled west, enrolled in the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and subsequently met model-actress-future-wife Terri Anderson; picture a marriage, three kids, a dog, a cat, a national improv comedy troupe, film & TV gigs, a bucket full of commercials and you got his number. Most recently filmed a supporting role in Ben Affleck's Gone, Baby, Gone.
