Suzanne Hawkins was born in Beaver Harbour, New Brunswick. Her acting debut came at the age of ten when she was selected to work on the Oscar winning film Children of A Lesser God with William Hurt and Marlee Matlin. A chance meeting with producer William Vince in 1999 brought her to Vancouver where she embarked on a period of private study with Gina Chiarelli, Nancy Sivak, Frank Cassini, and Tom Scholte at the Lyric School of Acting, Studio on the Drive, The Alexander Technique with Tasha Miller from London, and the Meisner Technique with Sandy Marshall. Suzanne's first speaking role was on the Comedy Network's Suckerpunch. Her most prized opportunity to date is working alongside Donald Sutherland voicing a 12 year-old boy during the inception of the made for TV animated movie 'Pirates Passage' out of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Suzanne Hawkins is based in Toronto.
