Presciliana Esparolini is known in the acting community as "a strong willed actor whose work alone is worth a ticket to the show". Born and raised in San Francisco's Mission District, Presciliana began performing at the age of five. She danced with San Francisco's Academy of Ballet for seven years before her love for the theatre started to take over. "Stepping Out" was one of her first theatre productions where she could shine as both dancer and actress. She attained her BA in both Theatre & Mathematics from Holy Names University and a Certificate of Completion from the American Conservatory of Theatre. Upon graduation, she was immediately picked up to play 'Celsa Guiterrez' in Michael Ondaatje's, "Billy the Kid" at the La Jolla Playhouse, under the direction of Tony Award winner Des McAnuff. Soon after, she relocated to Los Angeles and quickly began working in television and film. In 2005, she won an award from the Coleman & Smith Artistic Company for Best Character Actress under direction of Rodger Mosely in the play "Extremities". Presciliana also has a deep love for teaching acting with her students at The Aquila Studio. Many people have inspired Presciliana throughout her theatrical career including her team at Global Artist Agency, her daughter Angelina and her mentors, Deb Aquila.
