Born in El Paso, Texas, Carlos Moreno grew up always wanting to play a part in something creative and entertaining. He moved to New York City to attend Marymount Manhattan College where he began his formal training in directing for theatre and television. His original mentor, the late William J. Bordeau opened Carlos' eyes to directing and with further training Carlos became known as an "actor's director" and still carries that reputation anywhere he goes; using that experience with his television career. Carlos is directing the Portuguese broadcast of Ultimate Fighting Championship for the Combate network in Brazil. He has has served as Associate Director at KCET, PBS, CCTV-America, CBS, Ultimate Fighting Championship, Fox Sports, Telemundo Studios, VH1 Productions, Comedy Central and ION Television. He has also been a Script Supervisor (IATSE) for several game shows and talk shows, most notably 4 seasons on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, CBS' The Talk, 2 seasons of The Bonnie Hunt Show, Sports Show with Norm Macdonald, The Ricki Lake Show, Tonitely with Kevin Smith, Kathy and others. Carlos has also served as Production Supervisor for variety-game, talk and other multi-camera shows. Carlos worked and learned from several Emmy Award winning and nominated directors and has had the enormous privilege of working with Oscar winner & executive producer Jamie Foxx on "In The Flow" with Affion Crockett.
