Actor, puppeteer, filmmaker, playwright, youth worker and slave to caffeine. Together, Barry and fellow puppeteer Tanya Khordoc created the comic love story "Evolution," which premiered at New York City's HERE Arts Center in August of 2000. In July of 2001, Barry and Tanya were invited to perform "Evolution" at the Puppeteers of America National Festival in Tampa, Florida, alongside master puppeteers from all over the world. Barry has a B.A. in Theatre from Hampshire College and is a member of the Puppetry Guild of Greater New York and the Puppeteers of America. Possibly his weirdest accomplishment, however, was becoming an internationally known Elvis impersonator and appearing live on stage, in televised appearances on CNN and the FX Network, and in the midnight "cult" film The Return of the King? (1993) as the late, lamented "King of Rock 'n' Roll." When not performing, Barry is assistant director and theatre/puppetry coordinator for Levels, Great Neck, New York's nationally acclaimed cultural center for teenagers.
