Kev Yada has been acting and performing most of his life from about at the age of nine (9) with his first stage production A Christmas Carol, cast as one of The Portly Gentlemen. Kev began studying the Miesner techniques at the Reenie Cowan School of acting to perfect his acting skills. He also performed as a local musician where he begin recording as a protégé under the Ruthless records family via platinum producers Rhythm D. He received his door -opening break as a songwriter and musician with the duo "Me and My Cousin" under priority records appearing on spots for BET, and touring throughout the United States. As a producer he worked at the Sundance Film Institute working as an assistant programmer, being invited to Park City Utah to contribute in the Executive Business center. Later, with the Fremantle owned UFA Intl. Film & TV he sharpened his script review, writing and casting skills under producer Fred Sidewater for the BMG conglomerate. His administrative talents have taken him to organizations like Workplace Hollywood; an organization designed to bring about diversity within the entertainment business. The NCAAP image awards as executive assistant and Don Cornelius Productions with the Soul Train music awards as Talent Executive. Kev went full steam ahead with his acting skills and has participated in over 50 stage, film and TV productions since early 2011 making him recognizable and sought after for many Hollywood projects. Recently Kev released his KS Media short film series with projects that include The Meter produced by Roy Hathon and screened at the world recognizable Santa Barbara Film Festival to strong reviews. The Vanguard film Home for the weekend produced by Jocelyn Harper and Third Choice produced and directed by Mike Wilson. LMU Friendly Fire produced and directed by Roy Hun, the independently produced Taken from the film Assembly, the Dark Mysteries film The Hill Abduction Case screened in Japan and the Cal arts film Dad produced by and directed by Oates Yinchao. Kev is set to produce, write and film his original project; The SS Phylliss Wheatley and the short film Searching for Uncle Larry.
