Chris Kitchel

Chris Kitchel was born on March 2, 1950 in Huron, South Dakota. She moved to Denver with her family when she was 13, and attended Aurora High School. She went on to receive a Bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Minnesota, and then an MBA from Portland State University. She attended Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon and graduated with a JD in 1981. She was active in community theater during the late 1970's and early 1980's in Portland. After graduating from law school, she joined the firm of Stoel Rives, where she now is a partner. She is married to attorney Jan Kitchel and has three daughters.
