City of birth : Long Island, New York, USA

Tim Kubart found his love for children's music while volunteering at an NYC homeless shelter for women and children during college. He won the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Children's Album, for his independently released and fifth album for families, "Home". Tim spent 2013-2017 as a Host/Writer/Producer of the twice Emmy Nominated "Sunny Side Up", the only LIVE morning show for pre-schoolers, on NBCUniversal's Sprout Channel (now UniversalKids). He logged over 400 hours of live on air television experience, out of 30 Rock, and at the same time was one of the writer/producers of the daily original age-appropriate content, including songs and sketches alongside special guests, some favorites being Julie Andrews, Pentatonix, Tim Gunn, Astronaut Chris Hadfield, and First Lady Michelle Obama. In 2017 Tim won a Kidscreen Award for his hosting, and Tim's Sunny Side Up videos on YouTube have millions of views. Tim has also appeared on NBC's longstanding PSA campaign "The More You Know". Tim is seen in music videos on "Sprout House", on UniversalKids. He worked as Music Director for Sprout House's development and launch. As a Songwriter/Composer, alongside his production team Bfast Studios, Tim works on music for other children's properties, most notably "Sesame Street". Compositions include "We Can All Be Friends", the introductory song for Julia, the first Muppet with autism; and "C is for Cloud", a duet between Elmo and Ellie Goulding. Tim also wrote and performed "Growing Together" for the Sprout float at the 2016 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Bfast Studios other credits include songs for Netflix Family and PBS Kids. Tim is on a never ending tour playing concerts for kids and families and has performed thousands of times in every situation imaginable. Venues include at capacity shows at The Kennedy Center, Brooklyn Bowl, The Smithsonian, and the Music Hall of Williamsburg, as well as headlining spots on the family stages of Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits. He even once opened for "Kool & the Gang." His original songs are on constant rotation on SiriusXM KiDs Place Live and minivans across the country. New York Family describes Tim as "Kindie's Breakout Star." Tim is potentially still best known though as "Tambourine Guy," a longstanding cast member of the viral music collective and internationally touring Postmodern Jukebox. His clowning around with PMJ have helped them gain over 3 million YouTube subscribers, over 900 million views, and the number one spot on the jazz iTunes charts for 10 consecutive albums. Performance highlights include New York's Radio City Music Hall, LA's Greek Theatre, Denver's Red Rocks Amphitheater, London's Roundhaus, Paris' L'Olympia, and Moscow's Crocus City Hall. He is anticipating the release of his first picture book, "Oopsie-do!" alongside HarperCollins publishers, as well as the release of his next original album "Building Blocks". 2018 will also be marked with a tour of Nigeria through the United States Embassy arts program.
