Carol Castro had her television debut playing Gracinha, a character in the soap opera "Mulheres Apaixonadas" (Women in Love), in 2003. During the following years, she was in the soap operas "Senhora do Destino" (Her Own Destiny) and "Bang Bang". Her first TV villain was Ruth in the remake of "O Profeta" (The Prophet). Her first comic role was the opportunistic Sheila of "Beleza Pura" (Pure Beauty). She was also in the soap operas "Escrito nas Estrelas"(Written in the Stars) as Mariana, "Morde e Assopra" (Dinosaurs & Robots) as Natalia and "Amor Eterno Amor" (Love Eternal Love) as Jacira. She participated in the TV shows "Os Caras de Pau" (The Shamelesses) and "Os Amadores" (The Amauters). Her last work on TV was Silvia, a lawyer in the soap opera "Amor à Vida" (Trail of Lies) by Walcyr Carrasco. In 2014, she was the winner of the brazilian version of Dancing with the Stars, "Dança dos Famosos", in the show "Domingão Faustão" (Sunday with Faustão). Her debut in cinema was portraying a mermaid in the movie "O Caminho das Nuvens" (The Road to the Clouds). Soon after, she starred in the Argentinian film "Peligrosa Obsesión" (Dangerous Obsession) by Raúl Rodríguez Peila. She was in the movies "Cilada.com" and "Open Road". She is now working on the movie "E.A.S. - Esquadrão Antisequestro" (Anti-Kidnapping Squad), she plays the Security Secretary, Rosa. She began her theatrical career at the age of 9. Among her stage work, she was in "Dona Flor e seus dois Maridos" (Lady Flor and her two Husbands), whose tour was a big hit across the country, and in the traditional play "A Paixão de Cristo" (The Passion of the Christ), in New Jerusalem (PE), in which she participated for two consecutive years in two different roles: Mary Magdalene and Mary of Nazareth.
