Gary Thomas

Born 16th March 1972 as Gary Stephen Thomas, studied for Degree in Digital Imaging at North East Surrey College of Technology in 2000. Has worked in Television, both live TV and post production and some theatre work behind the scenes. Has filmed a documentary 'Defining a Crisis', about the setting up of a Crisis House for people with Mental Health Problems. Also has feature films in development. In 2004 received funding from DADA-South for 'coming out' a split screen installation, and directed 'He came with wheels' screened at 4 festivals around the world in 2004/5. In 2006 received funding from Arts Council England and completed 'Madness as a form of relaxation' a collaboration with Abbie Norris. Also in 2006 he Produced, wrote and directed 'Early One Summer' a short film starring Charlie Ross and Graeme Dalling.
