Selami Karaibrahimgil

Selami Karaibrahimgil a member of Modern Folk Trio music group in Turkey, which won great approval and popularity for performing the old traditional Turkish folk songs in a modern polyphonic style. Acclaimed as Turkey's "Ambassadors of Music", members of the Modern Folk Trio, Selami Karaibrahimgil, Ahmet Kurtaran and Dogan Canku performed in 35 countries since 1969 when the Trio was formed. Selami Karaibrahimgil is uncle of famous pop singer Nil Karaibrahimgil. Selami Karaibrahimgil is also a Former General Director at the Ministry of Tourism, Turkey. He also took assignments in London as Dep. Information Counsellor, and in New York as the Director of Turkish Tourist Office.
