Sarah Gordy

Sarah Gordy is known for her roles in Ralph & Katie (2022), The A Word (2020), Upstairs Downstairs (2010), Call the Midwife (2014) and Holby City (2012). She has acted in TV, short films, radio dramas, commercials and many theatre productions. She was the first woman with Down syndrome to receive an MBE, the first person with Down syndrome to be awarded an honorary degree by a British university and Mencap's first celebrity ambassador with a learning disability. Born in London to a British mother and American father, she has lived in both the UK and US. Sarah is an actor, dancer and charity campaigner. She is a patron of the Down's Syndrome Association (DSA) and Circus Starr.
