Xavier Ramirez, Jr. (born June 3, 1976) is an American actor and director. Xavier is a three time regional Emmy® nominated producer that has appeared in over 20 films as a actor, writer, director and producer. Xavier is best known for his role as director of the controversial music biopic "I Got Soul" (2013). He is also known for his roles in films such as Selena (1997), Step Up (2006). Among urban dance fans and B-boy culture, he is well known as collaborator to the actor/dancers of the original Breakin (1984) MGM franchise. Xavier was born in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Alice Landin, and Xavier Ramirez Sr, a retired United States Airforce master sergeant .He attended Brackenridge High School, St. Mary's University & Rice University.
