Aleksandr Zamyatin

He is an award-winning director, who directed over 20 projects, among them sci-fi, thriller and drama series, as well as feature films. His unique experience in filmmaking spans the USA, Italy, Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Turkey. Alex directed each episode in almost all of his television series: some of which had 24 to 30 episodes. In 2011, a 24 episode TV serial "In the Forest and the Mountains' (all episodes which he directed) was nominated twice for a TEFI, which is the Russian equivalent of an Emmy. This period drama serial has won awards at Russian and Ukrainian film festivals for an Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series.In 2016, Alex relocated to Los Angeles, where he produced and directed a TV pilot "Love & Food" and "Transcoder", a short as a proof of concept for a sci-fi TV series.
