Born in Ealing of Polish parents, he grew up off Argyll Road in West Ealing in the 1960-70s. He attended St. Anne's Convent South Ealing until age 7. He then moved to Ealing College Lower School, on The Avenue until age 11, and to Corona, the drama school in Hammersmith. During this period he began his TV work. His last work was at the Lyric theatre in Hammersmith around 1982
