Born and raised in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, Kym Cohen earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Film and Journalism from the University of Arizona in 1992. Upon college graduation, she relocated to Los Angeles and pursued feature film animation. Two years later, she was a survivor of the 6.7 earthquake on January 17, 1994 where her Northridge Meadows Apartment collapsed at the epicenter of the quake! She then moved back to Philadelphia, was randomly scouted for acting and voiceover work, studied the Meisner Method and began her acting career! Recently completed projects include National Treasure (2004, The Chest (2004) , Work in Progress, Look Hard, Willy Will and a semi-national television commercial for LA Weight Loss that airs from New York to Florida.
