Ron Yavnieli

Born in Miami Fl, Ron Yavnieli wanted to be a professional Creator of Cartoons from a very young age. Some of his earliest and still strongest influences were classics such as Popeye, Looney Tunes, Droopy, Tom & Jerry, all things Disney, Ren and Stimpy, Beavis and Butthead, Wallace and Gromit, and Will Vinton's Claymation work from the 80's. Ron has been writing, drawing, sculpting, voice acting and day dreaming his entire life. Trained at Cal Arts and Syracuse University, Ron has worked with companies like Funny or Die, Bento Box, Disney, Warner Brothers, Machinima, Nintendo, College Humor, Nickelodeon and Nerdist over the years and continues producing original content. Ron's original films have won awards at Worldfest Houston, Worldfest Flagstaff, Dogfest, The Toronto Jewish Film Festival, and The Miami Animation Festival. Ron co-created several cartoons for Yahoo's 'Sketchy' channel including the viral hit "Disney/Star Wars Corporate Retreat" which won "Best Narrative Short" at The 2013 Animation Block Party. A Jack of all show biz trades: Ron has worked as a Writer, Storyboard Artist, Character Designer, Animator, Producer, Director and and Voice Actor, and Stand Up Comedian. Ron is the creator and executive producer of "Gorillaville" on DreamworksTV.
