Nickla Roberts

Nickla Roberts, born in Lubbock, Texas to wrestling parents Nick and Lorraine was bitten by the bug early in life and just knew that's what she wanted to do when she grew up. Trained by her parents and Nelson Royal she debuted in WCCW in 1984 as the valet for "Gorgeous" Gino Hernandez, she was nicknamed Andrea the Lady Giant and began a feud with Stella Mae French. She would also have a feud with Sunshine who came back to avenge her Aunt Stella. After leaving the Texas wrestling scene she would go on to work for Jim Crockett Promotions. Redubbed Baby Doll, she would go on to manage/valet for wrestlers such as, Larry Zbyszko, Tully Blanchard and Dusty Rhodes. She would join Dusty Rhodes and Magnum T.A. and other teams in their feuds against The Midnight Express. She was married for a time to wrestler Sam Houston (Michael Smith) and they had two children together. These days she is married to Chad Byrd and is semi-retired, but still makes appearances.
