Sue-Ellen Jensen (née Koczwara) was born in Keighley, Bradford, West Yorkshire, England to Polish parents. At 7 years old she moved to the beautiful peninsula of Pen-Llyn, Caergybi, Wales where she started her life on stage in community theatre. Throughout her childhood she trained as a dancer and auditioned for the Merseyside School of Dance and Drama when she was 18. Following a stint at the prestigious performing arts school she went on to attend Edge Hill College of Higher Education. There she graduated with a BA/Honours in Drama and Media & Communication, specialising in television and radio production. At age 20, whilst still at University, Sue-Ellen began her acting career with small uncredited roles on Brookside, Brookside: Unfinished Business, Coronation Street, Hollyoaks, Cold Feet, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps and the movie Alfie (deleted scene - meh!), starring Jude Law. She got her first credited role working alongside David Jason in A Touch of Frost and was able to use her Polish language skills in the role playing an interpreter. Sue-Ellen spent a period of time working as a drive-time co-presenter on ALL FM in 2004 before jet-setting on a round the world trip with her husband Niels.
