Ross Bartley is a leading freelance Irish cameraman and director who, after a decade working with Crossing the Line Films has experience in all aspects of television production, most notably in wildlife documentary making. He has filmed extensively throughout the world, often in inhospitable places such as the Arctic, Amazon or Sahara. He has worked on many award winning documentaries including cameraman on 'Ireland's wild river', nominated for 3 Emmys in 2015 including best cinematography and overall best nature documentary. 'Ireland's wild river' was previously won three golden panda awards for best documentary and best cinematography at Wildscreen 2014, and Best Wildlife Habitat Program and the overall Grand Teton Best of Festival Award at Jackson Hole. Ross Bartley has recently filmed and directed 'Shutterbugs' a 15 part children's wildlife series. He has also filmed and directed 'Wild Journeys' three one-hour documentaries following animal migrations and four series of 'Wild Trials'. He is a qualified scuba diver and speaks fluent French and Spanish. To date he has filmed in over 70 countries worldwide.
