Federico Actis

Federico Actis is an Argentine filmmaker from Rosario, Santa Fe. He holds a degree in Social Communication from the National University of Rosario (UNR). His training also includes international experiences, having studied at the Complutense University of Madrid and the University of Guadalajara, Mexico. Actis has worked as a scriptwriter for cultural television at Señal Santa Fe and Canal Encuentro. Among his most notable projects are Los teleféricos (2010), La arquitectura del crimen (2016) and Vera y el placer de los otros (2023), the latter co-directed with Romina Tamburello. For this project they were both awarded at the Mar del Plata Film Festival for Best Director.
